Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Team Lead with 7–8 years of
experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and data analytics. The ideal
candidate will have solid hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power BI and SQL,
along with proven experience in leading a team, managing end-to-end reporting
deliveries, and working directly with business stakeholders.
The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into
scalable and insightful Power BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and
performance, providing technical guidance to the team, and driving delivery
within agreed timelines.
Exposure to Data Engineering and Advanced Excel will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Power BI Development & Solution Design
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards, reports,
and analytical solutions.
Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and analytical logic.
Design optimized Power BI data models using Star Schema and dimensional
modelling principles.
Implement appropriate relationships, hierarchies, calculated tables, and
reusable semantic models.
Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance and scalability.
Implement and manage Power BI Service, workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines,
refresh schedules, and gateways.
Implement appropriate Row-Level Security (RLS) and access controls.
Establish and promote Power BI development standards, best practices, and
reusable frameworks.
Review solutions developed by team members and provide technical feedback.
2. SQL & Data Analysis
Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, CTEs, and
analytical queries.
Work with relational databases and large datasets to extract, transform, and
validate data.
