nSeeking 6-to-9-year experience as a SW Developer to work on tools development. Candidate should have strong knowledge and experience with all aspects of Software development – including Definition, Design, Implementation, Verification, and Troubleshooting. As a Software Engineer, based in Bangalore, and reporting to the manager of Firmware Development, you will be part of the Firmware development team.

nAs a Senior engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
nResponsibilities

Design and development of the utility tool and CLI tools to support the verification of PCIe products (Switchtec/Flashtec)n
Participate in detailed design and code reviews of implementations by teamn
Work in collaboration with other teams like FW development, FW verification, Validation and Chiplink team to design solutions and develop tools to verify new feature support or enhance the tooln
Integrate software components into a fully functional software systemn
Work closely with Application team to support and resolve customer issuesn
Work in collaboration with other Microchip sites to design solutionsn
Write comprehensive engineering documentationn

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Sciencen
nRequired Skills

Extensive experience in C and C++ developmentn
Hands-on experience in Python programmingn
Positive knowledge on Perl, shell and other scripting toolsn
The candidate must have knowledge of Linux driversn
Knowledge in storage protocol (i.e. NVMe) and PCIe protocoln
Familiar with GIT, Jenkins, and related toolsn
Valuable understanding of communication protocols, like I2C, SPI, UARTn
Hands-on experience in implementing multi-threaded applicationsn
Must be a good team player and act as per the project needsn
Excellent verbal and written communication skilln
Robust interpersonal skillsn
