Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement / Purchase Engineer to manage material procurement and vendor coordination for solar EPC and ground-mounted solar power projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in solar material procurement, vendor management, quotation comparison, purchase orders, price negotiation, material planning and delivery coordination.

Candidates currently working in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Electrical or Construction procurement are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities for solar EPC projects.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Source quotations from manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.
- Prepare and compare vendor quotations, BOQs and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per project requirements.




- Coordinate with the Engineering, Project, Stores, Accounts and Management teams.
- Understand project BOQs, technical specifications and material requirements.
- Plan procurement according to project schedules and material requirements.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with site and stores teams regarding material receipt and availability.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and expected delivery dates.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on price, quality, delivery and service.
- Resolve procurement-related issues with suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain purchase records, quotation comparisons, vendor details and procurement reports.
- Support cost optimization and timely procurement of project materials.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
