Required Skills
1–2 years of experience in Wire Harness Inspection / Incoming Quality / IQC / Quality Inspection.
Knowledge of crimping standards, crimp height, and pull-test concepts.
Ability to read and understand wire harness drawings, wiring diagrams, BOM, and pin configurations.
Valuable understanding of wires, connectors, terminals, electrical components, HST, and sleeves.
Knowledge of common crimp defects such as over-crimp, under-crimp, strand cut/damage, and improper terminal locking.
Understanding of proper wire stripping methods to avoid strand damage.
Basic knowledge of multimeter usage for continuity testing.
Hands-on knowledge of inspection tools such as Vernier Caliper and Crimp Height Gauge.
Knowledge of ESD and safe material handling practices.
Good defect identification and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word for inspection reports and tracking.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Positive communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
Qualification
Diploma – Mechanical / ECE / EEE
ITI – Electrical / Electronics candidates with relevant wire harness inspection experience can also apply.
