Fitter – Key Responsibilities
Perform machine and equipment fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and assembly diagrams.
Carry out cutting, drilling, grinding, filing, tapping, and fitting of components.
Assemble and align machines, shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, and other mechanical parts.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment abnormalities.
Check machine alignment, dimensions, clearances, and proper functioning.
Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
Replace worn or damaged mechanical components when required.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S/housekeeping standards.
Maintain maintenance records and report major breakdowns or recurring issues.
Ensure all fitting and maintenance work is completed according to quality standards and timelines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
