Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical design of robots and peripheral structures from POC to production and sustaining phases, ensuring alignment with cross-functional engineering groups.
Exercise strong engineering judgment in selecting design methods, materials,



and validation techniques to achieve reliable and manufacturable solutions.
Plan and conduct internal design reviews, driving transparent documentation, risk identification, and closure of actions.
Review, evaluate, and approve design improvements supported by analysis, test data, and engineering documentation.
Communicate design requirements to vendors using 3D CAD, 2D drawings, GD&T;, and engineering specifications, applying DRM, DFM, DFX, and Six Sigma principles.
Support development of manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test processes, and troubleshoot issues during prototype and production builds.
Review and approve detailed technical drawings and manufacturing release packages.
Own the engineering specification, design, development timeline, validation, and release of components, modules, and assemblies.
