We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Gaya, Bihar, and contribute to building and implementing a data-driven governance model for the Government of Bihar.
The role offers an opportunity to work closely with government stakeholders and transform data into actionable insights for better planning, monitoring, decision-making, and public service delivery.
? Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets from multiple government sources.
Develop dashboards, MIS reports, KPIs, and data visualisations for governance monitoring.
Identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and actionable insights from administrative data.
Support departments/district administration in data-driven decision-making.
Build and maintain automated reporting and analytical workflows.
Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
Ensure data quality, consistency,



and timely reporting.
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a straightforward and meaningful manner.
Support the development of district/state-level governance performance indicators.
? Required Skills
2–3 years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / MIS / Consulting.
Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel.
Good hands-on experience with SQL.
Experience with Power BI / Tableau or similar BI tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with large and diverse datasets.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Willingness to work closely with government departments and field teams.
⭐ Good to Have
Experience in government projects / public policy / development sector / consulting.
Exposure to data-driven governance, monitoring & evaluation, or e-governance.
Knowledge of Python
