Job Summary:
The Large Power Systems Division currently has an opening for a performance analyst who will utilize commercial and internal tools and analytical techniques (1-D and 3-D simulation tools) to provide simulation support for lubrication systems across various Caterpillar large engine platforms, with the opportunity to also work on engine water system simulations. This includes development of models to simulate oil pumps, engine oil galleries, valves, and heat exchangers in both steady-state and transient conditions (e.g., time to prime simulations), as well as 3-D simulations of piston cooling with oil jets.
