Digital Polygon is looking for an experienced Technical Architect – Open Source CMS (Drupal or WordPress) to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will be expected to actively contribute to development while also owning architecture, technical decisions, client discussions, estimation, and mentoring. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable writing production code, solving complex technical problems, designing scalable solutions, and leading technical discussions.
You should have a solid track record of building complex open-source CMS solutions (Drupal or WordPress) and the ability to take technical ownership from discovery and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing support.

What You'll Do
Take technical ownership of projects while remaining actively involved in hands-on development.
Design, architect, develop, debug, and maintain complex enterprise websites and custom applications built on Drupal or WordPress.
Write production-quality PHP code and contribute directly to complex technical implementations across Drupal or WordPress platforms.
Define application architecture, technical standards, development patterns, and best practices.
Make architectural decisions around custom development, plugins, APIs, integrations, databases, caching, security, and infrastructure.
