Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Java Developer to join our IT/Software Development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting Java-based applications. This role will provide an chance to work independently on application development as well as production support and future technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications.
Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Design, develop, test, and deploy application features and enhancements.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
Work with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.
Write effective and optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and application defects.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality.
Maintain technical documentation and application-related records.




Support integration of applications with internal and external systems.
Contribute to building Java development capabilities within the organization.

Required Skills
Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience in Java development.
Solid knowledge of Core Java concepts.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Good understanding of REST APIs / Web Services.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
Ability to understand existing applications and independently handle development and maintenance activities.

Preferred Skills
Experience in application development and production support.
Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA.
Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, or frontend technologies will be an advantage.
Experience working with cloud platforms or deployment tools will be an added advantage.

Education B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
