The firm advises political entities, government bodies and advocacy groups across India, building the positioning, narratives and campaigns through which they engage the public.

Role Summary: The Political Communications & Campaign Strategist works with political leaders and organisations to turn political priorities and public issues into campaigns, building each from the initial idea through to positioning, narrative, messaging and execution.This is a strategic role: defining what a leader or organisation should own, say and stand for, and shaping that into distinctive, executable campaigns across media, social media, public events and ground engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Strategy & Narrative Development:

- Identify political, social and public issues that present an prospect for a leader or organisation to build relevance and ownership, and develop ideas into campaign frameworks that can be taken across media, digital, public events, ground engagement and other channels.
- Conceptualise and design public events and ground activations that build visibility for a campaign and bring its narrative to life.
- Develop the narrative and messaging around political leaders, organisations, issues and campaigns, determining the key message and communication approach for different political situations and audiences.
- Translate complex political or policy subjects into simple, compelling and politically relevant narratives, and prepare the campaign briefs and speech themes that carry them through execution.

2. Stakeholder Advisory:

- Work directly with senior stakeholders to translate political objectives into communication and campaign opportunities, presenting and defending campaign ideas and positioning approaches.
- Manage multiple mandates,



developing distinct strategic approaches suited to each assignment's political context, objectives and audience.

3. Social Media & Digital Practice

- Develop the firm's social media and digital strategy, defining how leaders, organisations and campaigns should show up across platforms, and translate campaign narratives into platform-specific direction.
- Use social media and digital performance data to sharpen strategy and identify emerging opportunities and risks, and help build out social media and digital as a practice area at the firm, including the processes, tools and team required as the work scales.

4. Political & Public Insight

- Closely follow Indian politics, public discourse, media narratives and emerging issues, and analyse public sentiment and existing perceptions of leaders and organisations, to feed campaign ideas and identify opportunities and risks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a PR agency, political consultancy, newsroom or strategic communications environment, with substantial exposure to political or public-facing communication.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian political landscape, including parties, leaders, political history and ideological context, extending well beyond day-to-day current affairs.
- A demonstrated track record of building campaigns, narratives or public-facing communication from the ground up, supported by writing samples or case studies.
- Hands-on experience developing or advising on social media strategy for a political leader, brand or campaign; familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools would be preferred.
- Experience advising senior leaders directly and managing multiple concurrent mandates under tight timelines.
- Working proficiency in Marathi and Hindi would be preferred.
