: Pimcore Developer

Position Overview:

As a Pimcore Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Pimcore system to manage our products. The role focuses on product data modelling, governance, integrations, and performance, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and consistent product data across multiple channels and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pimcore Implementation:

- Configuration, customization, and deployment of Pimcore for managing product information.

- Implement complex data models, object classes, class inheritance, and field collections in Pimcore.

- Develop and customize Pimcore bundles, plugins, and extensions.

- Optimize application performance, caching (Redis), and search (Elasticsearch).

- Solid understanding of Data governance and implementation of Workflows and rules in Pimcore. Set up approval processes, validation rules, and content enrichment steps to ensure high data quality.

- Set up and configure channels, validation rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Data Syndication:

- Syndication to Sales Channels: Develop and maintain mapping templates and syndication rules in Pimcore for distributing product data to various external sales channels (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce platforms).

- Recommended to have good understanding and hands-on experience in setting up GS1 integration.

- Quality Assurance and Testing:





- Conduct unit testing and collaborate with QA teams to ensure that all PIM functionalities meet the specified requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data imports, exports, or integrations.

- Documentation and Training:

- Document the design, configuration, and development processes for future reference.

- Provide training and support to internal teams on using and managing the Pimcore system.

Qualifications:

- Technical Skills:

- Robust experience with Pimcore (PIM/DAM)

- Proficiency in PHP, Symfony Framework

- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and filtering

- Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs

- Solid understanding of data modelling, taxonomy modelling, entity-relationship design, and PIM best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control

- Understanding of security best practices and role/permission management

- Familiarity with other systems such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

- Experience:

- Experience with Pimcore Enterprise Edition (PIM features)

- Prior experience working on projects involving large datasets and complex data structures.

- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues

- Solid understanding and prior hands-on experience in setting up GS1 integration.

- Education/ Certifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Pimcore or Symfony certification
