Qualifications & Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Background
Required: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in structural BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit Structure.
Preferred: Experience working on US-based structural engineering or construction projects, with a basic understanding of US codes, standards, and drawing practices.
Preferred: Knowledge of light gauge steel (LGS) framing, structural steel design, or steel detailing is an added advantage.
Software Proficiency
Required: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Autodesk AutoCAD.
Preferred: Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate and detailed 3D structural BIM models using Revit based on structural designs, drawings, sketches, and engineering inputs.
Prepare detailed structural drawings, documentation, and construction-ready deliverables.
Coordinate structural models and drawings with project requirements and other disciplines.
Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established BIM standards and workflows.
Review and incorporate design changes and project revisions efficiently.
Support the team in maintaining high-quality structural modeling and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication & Soft Skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and project stakeholders.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Solid teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a project-driven environment.
Genuine interest in BIM workflows, structural modeling, and industry best practices.
Ability to learn new tools, standards, and project requirements quickly.
