As our new CBS CSU Associate CAD & BIM Engineer, you will be supporting the design and development of 2D/3D models and Building Information Models that drive precision engineering across Grundfos manufacturing and construction projects. What you will be doing
As a key part of the CBS Construction Services Unit team, you'll create impact by Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver accurate, high-quality CAD and BIM solutions that streamline manufacturing processes and support Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water technology..
Your main responsibilities include:
Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD drawings and BIM models for manufacturing and facility projects in accordance with Grundfos standards
Collaborate with project engineers and architects to integrate BIM workflows into design and construction processes
Perform clash detection, model coordination, and quality checks to ensure design accuracy and constructability
Support the development and maintenance of CAD/BIM templates, libraries, and standard components
Assist in translating engineering specifications into detailed technical drawings and digital models
Contribute to continuous improvement of CAD and BIM processes, tools, and best practices
