About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated PGT English Teacher to teach senior secondary students and contribute to their academic and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to Classes XI–XII as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, interactive and student-focused lessons.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and study materials.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance and academic progress.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide remedial guidance.
- Encourage strong communication, reading, writing, grammar and analytical skills.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' progress effectively.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school activities, events, workshops and other academic responsibilities.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and educational practices.

Educational Qualification
- M.A. / Master’s Degree in English from a recognized university with preferably 50% or above marks.
- B.Ed. or equivalent skilled teaching qualification from a recognized institution.




- Candidates should have strong command over spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English is desirable.
- Knowledge of computer applications and digital teaching tools will be an added advantage.

These qualifications are aligned with commonly specified PGT requirements; CBSE states that teacher qualifications must comply with applicable NCTE, government and CBSE requirements.

Experience

- 2–5 years of teaching experience as PGT English in a reputed CBSE/ICSE/State Board school preferred.
- Freshers with excellent academic records and strong teaching skills may also be considered.

- Good classroom management skills.
- Student-friendly and approachable personality.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
- Good lesson planning and assessment skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and smart-class teaching tools.

Salary Salary: Negotiable / As per school norms

Salary will be commensurate with qualification, experience and teaching skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who are dedicated, disciplined, professionally presented and passionate about teaching English will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
