Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PDI Technician to join our automotive dealership/service team. The PDI Technician will be responsible for conducting Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new vehicles, identifying defects or damages, carrying out necessary minor repairs and adjustments, and ensuring every vehicle is safe, fully functional, clean, and ready for customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new vehicles according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, safety, and cosmetic aspects of vehicles.
- Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, battery condition, tyre pressure, and other fluid levels.
- Test lights, horn, wipers, air conditioning/HVAC, infotainment, dashboard indicators, power windows, central locking, and other electrical systems.
- Check brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, and other major vehicle components.
- Identify transit damages such as scratches, dents, paint defects, or missing parts/accessories.
- Verify that all customer-requested accessories and fittings are correctly installed.
- Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and corrections identified during inspection.
- Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment when required.
- Complete PDI checklists, job cards,



inspection reports, and dealership system updates accurately.
- Coordinate with the Service, Sales, Parts, and Accessories teams to ensure timely rectification of issues.
- Re-inspect vehicles after repairs and confirm that all defects have been resolved before delivery.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, properly presented, and delivery-ready.
- Follow manufacturer standards, workshop procedures, and all applicable safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile service, PDI, workshop, or dealership operations preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of automobile mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently within delivery timelines.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
