Role Overview

Gate Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day production operations, manpower, productivity, quality, and shop-floor execution.

The candidate should have 4–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting and solid hands-on experience in managing production teams and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Independently manage and allocate manpower across production lines, machines, and shifts.
Monitor attendance, manpower productivity, discipline, and workforce utilization.
Plan and execute daily production activities as per production schedules.
Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and delivery requirements.
Monitor WIP, line balancing, production flow, and bottlenecks.
Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and OEE.
Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with Quality to control rejection, rework,



and process deviations.
Coordinate with Stores/SCM to ensure material availability.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, safety, and quality standards.
Train, guide, and develop operators and junior production personnel.
Monitor production performance and take corrective actions for deviations.
Prepare daily/shift production reports and performance dashboards.
Drive 5S, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
Escalate major production, quality, manpower, and maintenance issues to the Production Manager.

Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
4–5+ years of experience in manufacturing production.
Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
