Grooms Vault is looking for a skilled and reliable Part-Time Tailor to handle alterations and fitting adjustments for our suits, tuxedos, sherwanis, Indo-Western outfits, Jodhpuri suits and other occasion wear.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle alterations and fitting adjustments for men's and women's occasion wear
- Alter suits, trousers, shirts, sherwanis, dresses and other garments
- Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fitting
- Handle urgent alterations when required for upcoming bookings
- Coordinate with the store and QC team regarding alteration requirements
- Complete alterations within the required timeline
- Check the final fitting and quality after alterations
- Handle garments carefully and maintain the original finish and appearance
- Identify fitting issues and recommend suitable alterations
Requirements
- Tailoring experience preferred
- Good knowledge of garment alterations and fitting
- Ability to work independently
- Valuable attention to detail
- Ability to complete work within deadlines
- Experience with suits, formal wear or occasion wear is an advantage
- Freshers with basic tailoring skills may also apply
