An OSP engineer works on the physical network infrastructure locatedoutside buildings, including fiber-optic cables and their routes.
Job Responsibilities
- Design outside plant fiber networks and physical cable routes.
- Work on fiber network designs for connections going to homes, offices, and other locations.
- Prepare and modify designs using AutoCAD and fiber network design tools.
- Coordinate geographically with team members working from the USA.
- Work with geographical information and route planning for fiber networks.
- Coordinate with relevant teams throughout the network design process.
Mandatory Skills:
- AutoCAD experience is compulsory.
- Excellent English communication
- Positive understanding of engineering/design concepts
- Knowledge of fiber network design will be an added advantage.
