Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen 2 / Gen 3), Oracle SOA Suite, and related Oracle middleware technologies. Exposure to
Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management System (WMS) Cloud integrations will be an added advantage. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development
- Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle OIC (Gen 2 and Gen 3) leveraging REST, SOAP, FTP, and database adapters.
- Build orchestration and scheduled integration flows, process automation, and visual builder applications.
- Develop and configure Oracle Integration Cloud connections, lookups, and libraries.
- Implement B2B integrations and EDI transactions using Oracle OIC B2B capabilities.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Define integration architecture and best practices aligned with Oracle middleware standards.
- Participate in solution design discussions, technical POCs, and architecture reviews.
- Evaluate and recommend integration patterns (point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, event-driven).
Technical Expertise
- Integrate Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud,
and third-party SaaS applications via OIC.
- Work with Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW), Oracle Object Storage, and OCI services.
- Configure error handling, fault policies, retry logic, and monitoring dashboards in OIC.
- Develop XSLT/XPath transformations and data mapping for complex integration scenarios.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications.
- Collaborate with Oracle ERP/HCM/SCM functional consultants, solution architects, and project managers.
- Provide effort estimates, technical documentation, and integration design documents (IDD).
- Support UAT, production cutover, and hypercare post-go-live activities.
Operations & Support
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in production environments.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of OIC integrations.
- Maintain version control and deployment pipelines for OIC artifacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 6+ years of overall IT experience with minimum 4 years hands-on in Oracle OIC / ICS.
- Strong expertise in Oracle OIC Gen 2 and Gen 3 (OIC3) platform.
- Proficiency with OIC adapters: REST, SOAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, FTP,
File, Database, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Slack adapters.
- Hands-on experience with XSLT, XPath, XQuery, JSON, XML, and Groovy scripting.
- Good knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite 12c or Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
- Experience integrating with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM).
- Familiarity with REST API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.
Cloud & Platform Skills
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) — compute, networking, storage.
- Experience with OCI API Gateway, OCI Streaming, or Oracle Event Hub is a plus.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, or OCI DevOps) for OIC deployment automation.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion WMS Cloud and its integration with ERP/SCM modules (receiving, putaway, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting).
- Familiarity with RF device transaction flows and warehouse mobile integration patterns.
- Oracle OIC certification (Oracle Certified Professional - OIC).
- Experience with Oracle Process Automation (OPA) / Workflow.
- Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or BI Publisher integration.
- Exposure to MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica for migration scenarios.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and containerization.
- Experience in healthcare (HL7/FHIR), BFSI, retail, or manufacturing domain integrations.
Preferred Certifications (not mandatory)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Oracle SOA Suite 12c Certified Implementation Specialist.
