Obstetric Care
Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to patients.
Conduct and manage normal vaginal deliveries.
Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
Perform or assist in Caesarean sections and other obstetric procedures as per qualifications and hospital privileges.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labour.
Manage complications such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, postpartum haemorrhage, ectopic pregnancy, and other obstetric emergencies.
Gynaecological Care
Diagnose and treat common gynaecological conditions.
Manage menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility-related concerns, menopause, vaginal infections, and pelvic disorders.
Perform appropriate gynaecological examinations and procedures.
Evaluate patients requiring surgical or specialist intervention and arrange referrals where necessary.
Emergency & Inpatient Care
Attend obstetric and gynaecological emergencies promptly.
Examine and manage admitted patients.
Coordinate with anaesthetists, paediatricians/neonatologists, surgeons, and other specialists when required.
Participate in emergency duty/roster as assigned by the hospital.Role & responsibilities
