We are looking for an experienced OpenText Developer with expertise in OpenText Exstream and enterprise Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high volume customer communication applications, document templates, and correspondence solutions. The role requires solid technical skills in document composition, data transformation, template development, workflow integration, and production support within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

. Design, develop, and maintain customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream.

. Develop and customize document templates, correspondence, statements, invoices, letters, forms, and regulatory communications.

. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable document composition solutions.

. Design dynamic templates supporting multiple output formats, including PDF, HTML, AFP, XML, and print ready documents.

. Integrate OpenText Exstream with enterprise applications, databases, REST/SOA services, middleware, and ECM platforms.

. Develop data mapping, transformation, and business rules for document generation.

. Perform template migration, version upgrades, and production deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

. Optimize document generation performance for high volume batch processing.

. Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.

. Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational documentation.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills

. Strong experience with OpenText Exstream development and template design.

. Expertise in document composition, Customer Communications Management (CCM), and output management.

. Experience developing dynamic templates, reusable components, and document workflows.

. Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and data transformation.

. Experience with Java, SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, or scripting languages.

. Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, and enterprise system integration.

. Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.

. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management.

. Experience with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.

Preferred Skills

. Experience with OpenText StreamServe, Document Presentment, or other OpenText CCM products.

. Knowledge of enterprise content management (ECM) platforms such as OpenText Content Server or IBM FileNet.

. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

. Experience working with high volume batch processing and print management systems.

Exposure to messaging technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or RabbitMQ.

. Experience using AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, Gemini, or Devin AI.

Qualifications

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

. 412+ years of experience in OpenText Exstream or Customer Communications Management (CCM) development.

. OpenText certifications are an added advantage.
