Role & responsibilities
Prepare the OT, instruments, equipment, and consumables before procedures.
Assist doctors and the surgical team during OT procedures.
Maintain proper sterilization, disinfection, and infection-control standards.
Handle and maintain OT instruments and equipment efficiently.
Ensure availability and proper arrangement of surgical supplies and consumables.
Assist with patient preparation and positioning as required.
Follow biomedical waste management and OT safety protocols.
Maintain OT registers, records, and procedure-related documentation.
Coordinate with nursing, anesthesia, housekeeping, and other clinical teams.
Ensure the OT is cleaned, organized, and ready for the next procedure.
Immediately report equipment issues, stock shortages, or safety concerns to the concerned authority.
