Schedule and manage appointments, follow-ups, and specialist referrals.
Ensure continuity of care by coordinating services across departments.
Facilitate pre-visit planning and post-visit follow-up.
Communicate treatment plans, procedure preparation, and care instructions clearly.
Educate patients on available healthcare services, medications, and self-care practices.
Act as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with financial counselors as needed.
Monitor patient satisfaction and assist in resolving complaints or concerns.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Support care quality initiatives and participate in patient care team meetings.
