Key Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Solid interpersonal, soft-spoken, and empathetic listening skills.
Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
Education: Typically a bachelor's degree or Master's degree (often in BBA IN Hospital Management, or a related field).
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Education and Guidance: Explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery expectations to patients and families.
Emotional Support: Providing counseling for mental, emotional, or chronic health issues to reduce anxiety and stress.
Coordination: Acting as a liaison between doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care.
Operational Support: Assisting with financial counseling, insurance pre-authorization, and billing queries.
Follow-up: Monitoring patient progress after discharge, managing complaints, and scheduling follow-up appointments.




Provide emotional support and counselling to patients and their families throughout the treatment journey.
Educate patients about their diagnosis, available treatment options, and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated care.
Assist in managing patient expectations and addressing their concerns or queries.
Maintain patient confidentiality while handling medical records and personal information.
Help patients access hospital services, financial aid, or external support systems if needed.
Conduct follow-up sessions to monitor patient progress and mental well-being.
