nRole Overview
nWe are looking for an experienced Reinsurance professional with solid expertise in Marine insurance, covering both reinsurance placement and operations. The role will involve managing end-to-end facultative reinsurance placements, coordinating with insurers, reinsurers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of documentation and post-placement activities.
nKey Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Marine Facultative Reinsurance placements, from receiving submissions to final binding.n
- Analyse Marine risks, underwriting information, policy terms, limits, deductibles and exposure details.n
- Prepare and review reinsurance slips, submissions, quotations, debit/credit notes, cover notes and other placement documentation.n




- Approach and negotiate with domestic and international reinsurers for optimal terms and pricing.n
- Coordinate with cedants, insurers, reinsurers and internal teams throughout the placement cycle.n
- Handle reinsurance operations and post-placement servicing, including documentation, premium processing, endorsements, renewals and cancellations.n
- Follow up for reinsurance confirmations, signed lines, policy documentation and closing documents.n
- Coordinate with finance/accounts teams for premium settlements, collections and related reconciliations.n
- Support Marine reinsurance renewals and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers and market contacts.n
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, documentation and internal process requirements.n
- Maintain accurate records, placement trackers and MIS related to Marine reinsurance business.n
- Guide junior team members and support the team in meeting placement
