Role & responsibilities

- Robust understanding of networking concepts; CCNA or equivalent is mandatory.

- Provide L1 support for LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center environments.

- Handle network tickets, perform L1 troubleshooting, and escalate issues to L2 teams when required.

- Monitor network alerts and coordinate with IT Monitoring, Network Teams, ISPs, and internal users.

- Perform L1 activities including VLAN assignment, change requests, and ISP maintenance coordination.

- Ensure network devices are integrated with monitoring systems and alerts are functional.

- Maintain network knowledge base, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

- Support network device upgrades and patching as per lifecycle management processes.

- Assist with network availability and performance reporting.
