nSenior Software Engineer- Node JS
nJob Brief:
nWe are looking for an analytical, results-driven Back-end Developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyse current codes and industry developments, formulate more productive processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.
nRoles & Responsibilities:
nIntegration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
nWriting reusable, testable, and efficient code
nDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
nImplementation of security and data protection
nIntegration of data storage solutions may include mysql-databases, key-value stores, blob stores
nRequirements:

- Strong proficiency with NodeJSn
- Good to have experience in Typescriptn
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workaroundsn
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as expressn
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3n
- Understanding accessibility and security compliancen
- Must have worked with microservicesn
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsn
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one systemn
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationn
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platformn
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processesn
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit testsn
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Gitn
