Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production activities as per the production schedule.
Ensure achievement of production targets within the defined time, cost and quality parameters.
Monitor shop-floor activities and ensure smooth production flow.
Allocate manpower and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and materials.
Read and understand engineering, fabrication and production drawings.
Coordinate with PPC, Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch departments.
Ensure availability of required raw materials, hardware, accessories and consumables for production.
Monitor production processes for aluminium doors, windows, façade components and related products.
Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
Monitor rejection, rework, scrap and material wastage and take measures to reduce them.
Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Maintain daily production records, machine records,



manpower details and Daily Production Reports (DPR).
Troubleshoot technical and process-related problems on the shop floor.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine breakdown and production downtime.
Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety rules and work instructions.
Train and guide operators/workers regarding production processes and work methods.
Monitor productivity and identify prospects for improving production efficiency.
Support recent product/process development and implementation of process improvements.
Prepare production-related MIS and reports for management review.
