Job Purpose

To manage and execute the company's procurement activities efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted availability of raw materials, components, consumables, spare parts, packaging materials, and other required items for manufacturing operations.

The position is responsible for vendor coordination, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, cost control, timely delivery, inventory support, and procurement process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management
Process purchase requirements received from Production, PPC, Stores, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments.
Review material requirements and ensure timely procurement as per production schedules.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, transportation, and other commercial terms.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders after obtaining necessary approvals.
Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor open Purchase Orders and ensure timely closure.

Vendor Management
Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers and vendors.




Develop alternative sources where required to ensure business continuity.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding shortages, delays, quality issues, and replacement materials.

Production & Delivery Coordination
Coordinate closely with PPC/Production to understand upcoming material requirements.
Ensure critical materials are available as per production schedules.
Follow up with suppliers on delivery commitments.

SAP & Documentation
Maintain accurate purchase data in the company's ERP/software system.
Prepare Purchase Orders, comparative statements, supplier quotations, and related documents.
Maintain vendor master data and commercial records.
Monitor pending Purchase Orders and procurement reports.
Coordinate with Accounts regarding invoices, GRN-related issues, and supplier payments.
Ensure complete and accurate procurement documentation.

Pay: ₹10,876.67 - ₹37,174.98 per month
