We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop rugged industrial products. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design of IP65/IP67-rated enclosures, rack-mounted and DIN rail-mounted products, ensuring compliance with thermal, environmental, vibration, and IEC standards. The role requires close collaboration with hardware, thermal, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical enclosures for rugged industrial enclosures and networking equipment.
- Develop IP65/IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof enclosures using plastic and metal housings.
- Perform thermal-oriented mechanical design to improve heat transfer using heat sinks, thermal interfaces, aluminum housings, and conduction cooling techniques.
- Design mechanical assemblies considering EMC, shock, vibration, ingress protection, and manufacturability.




- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Work closely with PCB, Electrical, Hardware, Thermal, and Manufacturing teams during product development.
- Coordinate prototype builds, validation, and design verification activities.
- Support DFM, DFA, DFT, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Participate in engineering change management through Teamcenter.
- Support supplier interaction, tooling reviews, and manufacturing issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IEC and global standards
