Neelkanth Engineering Industries, an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer of wire rope hoists and cranes, is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our design team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components for wire rope hoists, EOT cranes, and related material handling equipment
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Perform design calculations for load-bearing structures, gearboxes, and drum assemblies
- Review and revise existing designs for cost optimization and performance improvement
- Coordinate with production and QC teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing accuracy
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials)



and technical documentation
- Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T;, and material properties
- Knowledge of crane/hoist components (motors, gearboxes, wire ropes, drums) preferred
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Salary: As per industry standards (Negotiable based on experience)
