Role Description The Maths & Applied Mathematics Teacher will provide part time, on-site instruction to students in the Greater Kolkata Area for CBSE, ISC Classes 11–12 and JEE-level mathematics. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering concept-oriented lessons, explaining complex topics in a clear and engaging manner, and aligning teaching with the institute’s structured practice and testing system. The teacher will conduct regular class sessions, intensive practice workshops, doubt-clearing and exam-gap support,



while monitoring student progress through chapter-wise and full-syllabus assessments.

The role also involves adapting teaching approaches for small batches and individual students, collaborating with the academic team on curriculum refinement, and maintaining a disciplined, supportive classroom environment focused on exam readiness.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, with the ability to teach CBSE, ISC (Classes 11–12) and JEE-level topics confidently.
- Proficiency in Mathematics Education and Curriculum Development, including aligning lesson objectives with board and competitive exam requirements.
- Demonstrated experience as a Qualified Teacher, with a track record of effective coaching for board exams and/or entrance examinations.
- Skill in Lesson Planning, including designing concept-building sessions, practice modules and test-based revision strategies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field; B.Ed or equivalent pedagogical qualification is highly desirable.
- Ability to explain abstract concepts clearly, manage small-group and one-to-one sessions, and provide constructive feedback based on test performance.
- Comfort with using educational technology tools (e.g., digital whiteboards, online test platforms) and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Strong communication skills, student-centered approach, and willingness to work flexible hours in line with class schedules.
