Job Description We're Hiring | Study Abroad Counsellor (Australia)
Global Scholar is a UK-registered study abroad consultancy helping students from India and Nepal plan their international education journey across Australia, UK, Current Zealand, Canada, Ireland and Germany.
We are growing fast and looking for a passionate, student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to join our Noida team.
About the Role
You will be the primary counsellor for students interested in studying in Australia guiding them from their first enquiry all the way through to university application and visa. You should also have working knowledge of UK and Current Zealand processes to support cross-destination guidance.
What You Will Do
Counsel students and parents on study options in Australia (UK and NZ knowledge is a plus)
Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities and courses
Guide students through the full application process — SOP, documents, submissions
Explain visa requirements, financial requirements and timelines clearly




Follow up with leads and convert them to enrolments
Maintain accurate records of all student interactions in CRM
Meet monthly targets for consultations and enrolments

Who We Are Looking For
1–2 years of experience in study abroad counselling or education consultancy
Strong knowledge of Australia — universities, courses, student visa (subclass 500), PSW visa
Basic to working knowledge of UK and New Zealand processes
Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English
Student-first attitude — honest, patient and genuinely helpful
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
Based in or willing to commute to Noida
