- Management of both crude and distilled solvents.

Major Areas of Responsibility
- Operations &
- Functional Oversight: Taking charge of both SRP and the Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) plant for smooth functioning.
- Documentation &
- Reconciliation: Preparing BPR, ECR, and SOPs; maintaining daily reports, solvent ratios, and monthly solvent recovery reconciliation with respect to RMC.
- Equipment &
- Compliance: Qualifying columns and equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ); facing audits and maintaining all documents in accordance with GMP.
- Safety &
- Analysis: Carrying out HAZOP studies, ensuring compliance, recording deviations to report to seniors, and adhering strictly to company safety policy.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Interfacing with other departments and plants for solvent issuance, and verifying incoming streams for accuracy.
- Cost &
- Strategy: Initiating and implementing innovations to optimize recovery and reduce operational costs.

- Knowledge Areas
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Solvent recovery &
- MEE plant maintenance/operations, basic solvent chemical/physical properties (MSDS), cross-contamination prevention, and PLC SCADA/pneumatic controller instrumentation.
