: HOD – Mechanical Maintenance (Press Shop)Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced HOD of Mechanical Maintenance for our Automotive Sheet Metal / Auto-Part plant. Your main role will be to keep our Power Presses (20T to 500T+) running smoothly, minimize machine breakdowns, and lead the maintenance team.Key Responsibilities

- Power Press Maintenance: Oversee all mechanical work on Mechanical, Hydraulic, C-Frame, and H-Frame presses (20 Ton to 500+ Ton).
- Press Parts Support: Maintain Pneumatic Clutches, Brakes, Die Cushions, Feeders, and De-coilers to keep production running without stops.
- Reduce Downtime: Fix machine breakdowns quickly to maintain high OEE (Machine Efficiency) and meet Just-In-Time (JIT) automotive supply deadlines.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Set up and follow daily, weekly, and monthly PM checklists to stop machine failures before they happen.
- Utility Management:



Manage maintenance for other factory equipment like Air Compressors, Spot Welding machines, and SPMs.
- Team & Safety: Lead a team of Fitters, Electricians, and Technicians. Ensure machine safety guards are used and maintain 5S standards on the shop floor.

Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 10 to 15+ years in an Automotive Stamping / Sheet Metal plant, with experience leading a team.
- Technical Skills: Robust practical knowledge of heavy power presses, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
