- A maintenance engineer in a foundry industry keeps heavy casting and melting machinery running safely and efficiently by handling breakdown repairs, routine servicing, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on foundry machines to reduce unexpected downtime

- Furnace &
- Melting Care:

Maintain electric induction or cupola furnaces, including transformers, cooling systems, power panels, and auxiliary equipment.

- Molding &

- Sand Systems:

Service and troubleshoot high-pressure molding lines (such as SINTO equipment) along with sand plant systems like mixers, elevators, and conveyors

- Fault Diagnosis: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults using schematics and technical manuals

- Record Keeping: Track machine maintenance history,



manage work orders, and monitor spare parts inventory

- Safety &

- Compliance:

Enforce factory safety standards, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and 5S workplace organization

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.

- Foundry Experience: Familiarity with heavy industrial environments, melting processes, and high-temperature machinery.
