- We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join the manufacturing operations team in Bangalore. The selected candidates will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, following SOPs and safety procedures, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to SOPs and work instructions.
- Start and complete batch runs according to production schedules.
- Follow equipment yield, productivity, and efficiency requirements.
- Prepare and verify materials required for assigned work orders.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production operations.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow safety policies, GMP, and GDP practices.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet required quality standards.
- Identify equipment or process-related issues and immediately report discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead.
- Maintain cleanroom/dry room standards and follow proper housekeeping procedures.
- Ensure all assigned activities are completed according to established quality and production procedures.
Documentation & Records
- Complete production and batch-related documentation accurately.
- Perform label printing and review DHRs as required.
- Maintain accurate production records and work-related documentation.
- Conduct proper shift handover and passdown to the incoming team.
Equipment & Tools
- Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and work areas.
- Use microscopes, tweezers, and other handheld tools as required.
- Handle equipment, tools, chemicals, and reagents safely and according to established procedures.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with Supervisors, Leads, and other departments to resolve production issues.
- Support team members and contribute to achieving production targets.
- Communicate operational issues and work status clearly during shift handovers.
Education
Job Requirements
- Diploma, ITI, or Graduate qualification.
Communication
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and batch records.
- Basic English communication and writing skills.
Technical & General Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Basic mathematical ability.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Positive attention to detail.
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work with or handle chemicals/reagents as required.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with a Diploma, ITI, or Graduate qualification.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate documentation.
- Comfortable operating manufacturing equipment and using handheld tools.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and production procedures.
- Team players who are willing to support co-workers.
