Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).

- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.

- Perform regular system updates, patches, and kernel upgrades.

- Manage servers, file systems, user accounts, and access controls (ACLs).

- Managing and Troubleshooting Storage mountpoints like, NFS & SMB and Block Storages

- In-depth knowledge on Protocols like iSCSI, FC, NFS, SMB, HTTPS, FTP, WebDAV, S3, Etc.,

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

- Set up and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks.

- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies.

- Maintain system documentation and procedures.

- Ensure system security through firewalls, access controls, and regular audits.

- Work with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Respond to system alerts and participate in on-call rotation for critical issues.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field—or 3-4 years of equivalent experience.





- 3+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.

- Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems and command-line tools.

- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).

- Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices.

Preferred:

- Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or CompTIA Linux+.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, or other configuration management tools.

- Experience with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
