Role Description The Life Insurance Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Palampur. The advisor will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial protection needs and recommend suitable life insurance products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting customer meetings, explaining policy features and perks, providing quotations, completing application forms, and supporting customers through the onboarding and claim processes.

The advisor will also follow up on leads, build long-term relationships,



and maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in line with company guidelines. Collaboration with branch teams, adherence to regulatory requirements, and participation in training sessions to stay updated on products and compliance standards are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate insurance solutions.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including comfort with meeting targets and converting leads into long-term policyholders.
- Effective communication skills in spoken and written English and local languages, with clear and ethical presentation of financial products.
- Basic financial literacy and aptitude for learning insurance products, regulatory norms, and digital tools used for policy servicing.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer interactions, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Minimum educational qualification: a completed secondary or undergraduate degree; prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
