Learning & Development Manager – QSR

New York Burrito Company is a fast-growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand known for authentic Mexican cuisine. We currently operate across South Mumbai, Central Mumbai & Western Suburbs and are expanding our operations. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development Manager to lead our training and development function for restaurant operations in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and conduct induction, onboarding and refresher training for outlet teams.
- Train teams on SOPs, service standards, food safety, hygiene and FSSAI compliance.
- Conduct TNA, skill assessments and performance-gap training across outlets.
- Train employees on grooming standards, customer handling, communication and service etiquette.
- Develop training modules, manuals, assessments and learning materials.
- Conduct product knowledge and operational training for Store Managers and Team Members.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programmes and develop internal trainers.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and outlet performance.
- Maintain training calendar, records, attendance and MIS.




- Support recent store openings through pre-opening training and team readiness.
- Work with Operations to improve employee performance, productivity and service quality.
- Build a strong learning and development culture across the organisation.

Candidate Profile
- 6–10 years of experience in Training & Development.
- QSR, Restaurant, Hospitality or Retail experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SOPs and QSR operations.
- Experience in TNA and competency assessment.
- Experience in developing training modules and content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to train employees at all levels.
- Knowledge of FSSAI, food safety, hygiene will be preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced QSR environment.
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, HR or L&D; preferred.
- MBA/PG qualification in HR or L&D; will be an advantage.
