Job Summary

Role overview: We are looking for an experienced Power BI / Business Intelligence Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions. The role will work closely with business and finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, bring together data from multiple sources, and translate data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, data visualization, data modeling, and working with large datasets.

Experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Sigma would be an added advantage.

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid). Should be flexible to have an overlap with PST as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

- Partner with business and finance stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.

- Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple internal data sources.

- Develop meaningful KPIs, metrics, and visualizations that provide insights into business performance and trends.

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.

- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline existing manual reporting processes.

- Enhance existing dashboards for improved usability, performance, and visualization.

- Conduct root-cause and trend analysis and help stakeholders understand key drivers behind business performance.

- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests from multiple business teams.

- Create appropriate documentation for dashboards, data sources, business logic, and reporting processes.

- Work independently with stakeholders to manage priorities and deliver reporting solutions within agreed timelines.

Required Skills & Experience





- 7-10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or related areas.

- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

- Robust understanding of data visualization, dashboard design, data modeling, and reporting best practices.

- Experience working with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.

- Experience with data reconciliation and validation to ensure accuracy of reporting.

- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and explain analytical findings clearly.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting requirements and priorities.

Preferred / Added Advantage

- Experience with any of the following would be an advantage: SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing data.

- Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.

- Sigma Computing or similar cloud analytics/BI tools.

- Power Query, DAX, and advanced Power BI data modeling.

- Experience supporting Finance, FP&A;, or business performance reporting.

- Experience automating recurring reports and improving reporting processes.

The successful contractor will be able to quickly understand business requirements, work independently with the available data, and build reliable and intuitive dashboards that reduce manual reporting effort and enable stakeholders to make faster, data-driven decisions.
