Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Academic & Teaching Responsibilities:
Deliver theoretical and practical lectures in Medical Laboratory Sciences as per the prescribed curriculum.
Demonstrate and supervise laboratory procedures, experiments, and diagnostic techniques.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, practical manuals, and presentations.
Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and safety of laboratory equipment and instruments.
Evaluate students through internal assessments, practical exams, viva, and end-term examinations.
Maintain academic records including attendance, marks, and student progress reports.
Mentor and guide students for academic and career development.

Laboratory & Clinical Responsibilities:




Supervise clinical laboratory training and internships.
Ensure adherence to biosafety, quality control, and infection control protocols.
Assist in calibration, validation, and documentation of laboratory equipment.
Coordinate with hospitals or diagnostic centers for clinical exposure (if applicable).

Academic Administration & Development:
Participate in curriculum design, syllabus revision, and academic audits.
Contribute to NAAC/NABL/NMC or other regulatory compliance activities.
Attend departmental meetings, academic reviews, and faculty development programs.
Support admissions, examinations, inspections, and accreditation processes.

Research & Career development:
Engage in research, publications, and academic projects as per institutional norms.
Guide undergraduate/postgraduate students in projects and dissertations (as applicable).
