Responsibilities
Collect, process, and prepare blood specimens using aseptic techniques and venipuncture procedures to ensure sample integrity.
Perform blood typing, crossmatching, antibody screening, and compatibility testing with precision to guarantee protected transfusions.
Conduct laboratory assays such as ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), PCR (polymerase chain reaction),



flow cytometry, and immunoassays for diagnostic and research purposes.
Manage laboratory data efficiently through Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), ensuring accurate documentation of test results and specimen tracking.
Maintain strict adherence to laboratory protocols, including RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and blood banking procedures, while observing safety standards and aseptic techniques.
Assist in clinical trial sample processing, specimen collection, and data analysis to support ongoing research projects.

Qualifications
Proven experience in a clinical or research laboratory environment with a focus on blood banking or transfusion services.
Robust knowledge of laboratory techniques including blood sampling, venipuncture, specimen processing, and laboratory procedures.
