Job Title: PGT Mathematics (Post Graduate Teacher - Mathematics)

Job Summary

The PGT Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Mathematics to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII), ensuring academic excellence, and fostering analytical and problem-solving skills among learners.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
Teach advanced topics such as Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Probability, and Coordinate Geometry.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and instructional materials.
Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and examinations.
Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.

Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
Encourage student participation and critical thinking.




Address individual learning needs and provide remedial support where required.

Student Development
Monitor academic progress and maintain student records.
Provide guidance for board exam preparation and competitive exams.
Mentor students and support their overall academic growth.

Administrative Duties
Maintain attendance records and academic documentation.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
Assist in curriculum development and academic planning.

Coordination & Communication
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.
Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary learning.
Support school initiatives and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications
M.Sc. in Mathematics (mandatory)
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) (mandatory)
Additional certifications in teaching or pedagogy will be an advantage
