Role Overview:
As a Horticulturist in the real-estate sector you shall encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at nurturing plant life for food, beauty, and sustainability. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your extensive knowledge of landscaping and ornamental plants, with a focus on
floriculture, striving to enhance plant growth, health, and aesthetics. You will also contribute significantly to the development of sustainable practices, ensuring the well-being of our planet’s diverse flora.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Take ownership of landscape design projects from concept to completion, ensuring
the successful execution of horticultural visions.
Analyse and recommend plants based on their adaptability to different environmental
conditions,
including soil types, sunlight, and climate variations.
Manage pest, disease and weed control programmes to ensure hygiene and health standards are met.
Manage irrigation systems to ensure productive water use and plant hydration.
Utilizing horticultural expertise to design and plan gardens and landscapes that align with sustainable and aesthetic principles.
Advise clients on plant selection, landscape features, and garden designs based on climate, soil conditions, and aesthetic goals.
Conduct genetic plant breeding and research to develop current plant varieties with desired characteristics such as drought resistance or improved aesthetics.Key Skills:
