*Prepare supplier selection list based on internal Team guidance

*Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.

*Identify manufacturing feasibility, critical dimensions and potential risks.

*Prepare the Part Development Plan and development timeline.

*Coordinate prototype and sample development.

*Ensure development milestones are completed as per customer schedule.

*Monitor tool manufacturing progress against the development schedule.

*Conduct Trial Run / Run at Rate activities.

*Drive NPD activities according to PPAP and APQP requirements.

*Ensure PPAP approval before mass production.

*Develop parts within the approved target cost.

*Develop optimum strip layout / blank size for sheet-metal components where applicable.

*Track development cost against budget.
