Location: Bengaluru
Reports to: Head of Lab Operations
Mission: To act as the "ground-level" custodian of quality and inventory. You ensure that every test result is accurate and every reagent is accounted for, maintaining a lean and compliant lab setting.
Key Responsibilities
● Quality Investigative Lead: Execute IQC/EQA schedules; lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when quality shifts occur and ensure technicians implement corrective actions.
● Inventory Integrity: Implement "First-Expired, First-Out" (FEFO) protocols; conduct physical stock verification to maintain wastage at ≤1%.
● Cold Chain Custodian: Monitor and audit temperature logs for storage and transit, ensuring reagent stability and sample viability.
● Vendor Performance: Maintain Vendor Scorecards, tracking the actual "Time-to-Repair" against the promised SLAs
● People & Workflow Management: Supervise, schedule, and cross-train the technician cohort. Monitor daily sample pipelines to strictly maintain TAT.
● Biosafety: Enforce biomedical waste and safety protocols to ensure a zero-accident lab.
Requirements
● Technical Education: D/BSc/MSc in Medical Lab Technology (MLT) or Biomedical Engineering.
● Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume diagnostics lab, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
● Quality Expertise: Hands-on experience in performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and writing SOPs for NABL accreditation.
● Data Proficiency: Advanced Excel/LIMS skills for tracking reagent consumption patterns and predicting "stock-out" risks.
● Attention to Detail: Proven track record of managing complex inventories with high SKU counts
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
