Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare the lab and required equipment before each scheduled practical session as per timetable

- Issue, receive, and maintain custody of lab equipment, tools, and components

- Perform routine cleaning, basic calibration checks, and minor maintenance of equipment

- Report equipment malfunction or breakage to the Lab Instructor/HOD promptly

- Maintain the stock register, consumables inventory, and raise reorder indents

- Assist faculty and Lab Instructor during practical sessions

- Follow and enforce lab safety protocols relevant to the discipline (PPE, waste disposal, fire safety)

- Maintain the lab attendance register and equipment issue-return log
