Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Kibo OMS Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, customization, integration, and maintenance of Kibo Order Management System (OMS) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kibo OMS and a strong understanding of order management, e-commerce integrations, REST APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, backend services, and enterprise application development.

You will work closely with business analysts, product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other developers to design and deliver scalable solutions that support order capture, fulfillment, inventory, payments, shipping, returns, and other order lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain Kibo OMS solutions based on business requirements.
- Design and implement integrations between Kibo OMS and external systems such as:
- E-commerce platforms
- ERP systems
- Payment gateways
- Shipping and carrier systems
- Inventory and warehouse management systems
- Customer and product systems
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and web services.
- Work with Kibo OMS APIs, extensions, workflows, configurations, and integration capabilities.
- Implement and support end-to-end order lifecycle processes, including:
- Order creation and validation
- Order fulfillment
- Inventory allocation
- Shipping
- Order cancellation
- Returns and refunds
- Order status management
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop reusable and maintainable code following established development standards.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Monitor integrations and application processes and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
- Work closely with QA teams to support test planning, defect resolution, and release validation.




- Collaborate with architects and technical leads on solution design and integration architecture.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
- Prepare technical documentation for customizations, integrations, configurations, and support processes.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience, preferably in e-commerce, order management, or retail technology.
- Hands-on experience with Kibo OMS / Kibo Commerce.
- Strong understanding of Order Management System (OMS) concepts and order lifecycle processes.
- Experience developing or configuring Kibo OMS customizations, extensions, workflows, or integrations.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and web services.
- Strong programming experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Good understanding of backend application development and integration patterns.
- Experience working with databases and SQL.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth/API-based authentication.
- Good understanding of enterprise application integration and distributed systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Kibo OMS / Commerce Skills Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following:
- Kibo Order Management System

Integration Experience Experience integrating Kibo OMS with enterprise systems such as the following is highly desirable:

- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Product Information Management (PIM) systems
- Payment gateways
- Shipping and logistics providers
- Tax services
- Customer/CRM platforms
- Inventory management systems
- Third-party marketplaces

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Kibo Commerce / Kibo eCommerce.
- Experience with Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or other relational databases.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel commerce.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualified experience.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale e-commerce or retail applications.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel order management and fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

What You'll Work On As a Kibo OMS Developer, you will contribute to solutions across the complete order lifecycle, including order capture, inventory, sourcing, fulfillment, shipping, cancellation, returns, and refunds. You will also work on integrations between Kibo OMS and other enterprise systems to support seamless omnichannel customer experiences.
